Sometimes u meet people, whom u urself wonder how u met...and thats the fundamental thought behind the song "Kaise mujhe tum mil gaye"...from the film Ghajini.
Though the movie is quite different in its portrayal and the underlying story doesn't connect to this very song but this really slow melodious soft song has a different setting of its own. The song probably did not gain much significance or importance because it was not the one featured in promos or various music shows when the movie was released and just somehow appeared to be one of em kinds.
But if you were to just take a step back and listen as well as watch the song, one can get to it really quick. Get to it as in the song really hits ur heart and the melody gives a real soothing effect. The lyrics of the song revolve around the question i started with "How did I meet you?" and then goes on to describe the person/subject in question. The portrayal of this song is also fabulous. Probably, the only song which brings in the actor's (Aamir) dual life together in all its reality , yet combining it with the single thread that is common to both - the girl (Asin). One just tends to awe at the stern face behind which so many emotions just wizz by, portayed by Aamir in the song. The song starts with a sweet smile of Asin and moves on to Aamir's face, which is probably stern and rigid though a canvas for numerous emotions he goes through. Kudos to the actor for giving a terrific performance, especially in the song, because this song was definitely something different from the emotions he plays in the story as such. The all confident Aamir, who is very sure of himself is shown asking this question to himself, for possibly only once not having any answer to this very question...
